As Gifts Officer, Kaila will manage, coordinate, build and cultivate donor relationships with individuals and family foundations and raise significant revenue to help sustain the organization. She will craft proposals, prepare presentations, develop and engage in stewardship visits, manage logistics, and develop strategic communications.
Prior to joining our team, Kaila has experience as a community organizer for both issue based and candidate based campaigns where she created and strengthened community ties for just causes. She also has experience in multiple nonprofits working on communications, policy, food systems, and civic engagement.
Kaila’s passion about the environment stems from her experience living in the Delaware River Watershed in the Poconos during junior high and high school where she enjoyed hiking the Appalachian trails and the beauty of the river and wildlife.
